Providing Full Range of Industrial Solution

The global oil and gas industry, as part of the energy transition, is focusing on decreasing energy use, increasing energy efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Energy optimization is part of the broader path to greenhouse gas emissions reduction in the upstream oil and gas industry, which includes minimizing energy demand as well as maximizing efficiency. The mission of the STADENERGY /GETPower Energy Efficiency Expert Group is to provide materials that will support widespread implementation of energy efficiency technologies and practices for existing and new offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. STADENERGY /GETPowr shares recommended practices for energy management and optimization for the design, installation, and operation of new and existing equipment and systems. This will enable companies to evaluate their current energy efficiency practices from an organizational, asset, system, and equipment-level perspective to identify gaps and improve energy efficiency.

CANSOLV Carbon Dioxide (Co₂) Capture System

CANSOLV’s Co₂ capture technology is highly adaptable to a wide variety of industrial applications, gas flow rates and carbon dioxide (Co₂) concentrations. The system employs a regenerable solvent and utilizes a proprietary amine technology. The CANSOLV Co₂ Capture System is a worldleading amine-based Co₂ capture technology. The technology is ideal foruse in coal-fired and natural gas power plants where large amounts of Co₂ are generated. The pure Co₂ product output by the Shell CANSOLV technology enables Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR), Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) or Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) downstream of the plant. The Co₂ Capture System is also suitable for capturing Co₂ from boiler flue gas in applications in the mining and chemical industries. The technology can help refiners, utilities and other industries to lower their carbon intensity and meet stringent greenhouse gas abatement regulations by removing Co₂ from their exhaust streams.

Our solutions can help with product specifications and restrictive emission limits within a lower cost structure. We routinely customise economic solutions to clients’ environmental and regulatory problems

Current and anticipated legislation suggests that a mandatory CO₂ emissions reduction is inevitable. Meanwhile, forecasters expect the
world’s energy demand to increase by nearly 50% by 2030, meaning fossil fuels will likely represent a significant portion of the energy mix for years to come.

Oil and Gas Plants - On-shore and Off-shore

The oil and gas industry has long relied on proven batteries that can put the plant into a safe state in case of an incident. For this purpose, they protect the control technology of an oil refinery, agas pressure control station or an "offshore platform" (drilling rig) and supply the systems with energy so that the functioning of these devices is ensured.
However, special safety regulations apply in these operations because of the products handled, which can quickly become flammable in case of damage and may be dangerous to the environment. Special regulations govern the use and approval of technical equipment, such as stationary battery systems.

The oil and gas industry is the  biggest sector in the world, employing hundreds of thousands of  workers and generating hundreds of trillion of dollars globally each year.
